FAQ

Chant the Bible High Holidays software

question1: The software does not work on Vista.
Answer: Free update for older High Holidays Chant the Bible to work with Vista, (versions prior to 3.1 5768).

The CD disk that holds the software is a special CD by Hexalock Corporation; it contains an electronic hologram copy protection and needs updating in order to work in Vista.

Hexalock has posted a fix on its website. It is the update for “already made discs”, marked: VistaFix.zip
After downloading and installing the update, an icon marked “HLV” will appear on your desktop.
It always needs to be clicked prior to launching the High Holiday Chant the Bible application.

Alternatively, you may upgrade to the current release 3.1 5768 of the High Holidays Chant the Bible (Vista compatible),
which features many improvements to older versions, for 19.99
The update link for Hexalock is:

Questions/ problems related to Installation.

Question 1: When clicking to start the program, a message asking for the original disk appears, even though we have the disc in the CD/DVD drive?

Answer: The program is looking for disc # 2 which is the “play disc” it has to be always in the CD/DVD drive for the program to work.

Question 2
: We inserted disc # 2 to the drive but the computer is unable to open the program the message indicates that the computer is looking for the program “MAN” Why?

Answer: In systems with more than one CD/DVD drive insert the CD to the first CD drive. Some computer drives may be confusingly labeled, if you have more than one CD/DVD drives, find the one it works in, this is your first drive.
