| This book presents three keyboard settings of traditional and popular Nigunim at the intermediate level. The exquisite arrangements capture three distinct moods that are encapsulated in those Nigunim: 1: Wedding March – dignified, celebratory yet serious to mark the weighty occasion, sang as the bride marches to the Chupah (Canopy). 2: High Holiday Nigun - This pulsed, folk melody refrain, serves to break the long recitation during the High Holidays, and provides the Cantor with a chance to catch his breath. 3: Dance - It is hard not to feel like dancing with this well known and joyful favorite, (sometime named to as "Reb Dovidl").
Notes about the Nigun development and role throughout Jewish history are provided in English and Hebrew.
